Shape the Future of Cloud in Financial Services

At Evitec Solutions, we help financial institutions build and operate secure, resilient, and compliant cloud platforms. We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to strengthen our Azure practice and help drive cloud transformation for customers in the financial sector.

In this role, you will combine enterprise architecture, cloud governance, hands-on solution development, technical leadership, and customer advisory work. You will work closely with customers, delivery teams, and sales to design, build, and continuously improve modern Azure platforms and cloud services.

What You'll Do

• Design enterprise-scale Azure architectures, landing zones, and cloud platforms

• Define cloud governance, security, and operating models

• Design and implement Azure-based services and solutions together with delivery teams

• Lead architecture decisions and establish cloud standards, guardrails, and best practices

• Guide customers in cloud adoption, modernization, and transformation initiatives

• Define and implement governance controls using Azure Policy, Management Groups, RBAC, and policy-as-code approaches

• Design secure identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID and Zero Trust principles

• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and DORA

• Drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices

• Mentor colleagues and help grow Evitec's Azure architecture capabilities

• Support customer engagements and pre-sales activities as a trusted advisor

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture

• Experience designing enterprise-scale Azure platforms and landing zones

• Strong understanding of cloud governance, security architecture, and operating models

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, identity governance, RBAC/PIM, Conditional Access, and privileged access concepts

• Experience with Azure Policy, Management Groups, and subscription governance

• Hands-on experience building cloud-native and infrastructure solutions in Azure

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep

• Understanding of platform engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD practices

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud solutions

• Fluent Finnish and strong English skills

• Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale platform architecture

• Cloud governance and policy management

• Microsoft Entra ID and identity architecture

• Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Governance, and Zero Trust

• Azure networking and hybrid connectivity architectures

• Platform engineering and developer enablement

• Infrastructure as Code and automation

• Cloud-native application platforms and integration services

• Monitoring, observability, and operational excellence

• FinOps and cloud cost management

• Regulatory compliance in financial services

Bonus Experience

• Financial services or fintech

• DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, or other regulated environments

• Azure DevOps, GitHub, platform engineering, or DevSecOps practices

• Containers, AKS, Azure Container Apps, or API Management

• Azure certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-500, SC-100, or SC-200
